I’m not sure what category of athlete I fall under - how do I decide?

You can find the movement standards and weights for each classification of athlete on our Divisions page of our website. There is a place for everyone at Complete Competitions! If you’re still unsure, talk it over with your coach as they are most familiar with your skills and abilities.


What if I can’t do the weights or movements for a particular WOD, can I scale?

ABSOLUTELY! We want everyone to be comfortable and safe with the movements & weights they are doing. If you will be scaling a movement or weight, please let your judge know before your heat begins. For scoring purposes, however, scaled workouts will be scored below all workouts that were completed as prescribed.


I’m new to functional fitness - can I still give this a try?

Yes - we would love to have you come out! As detailed above, you are able to scale any movement and weight as needed. We only ask that you be familiar with all of the movements and practice the workouts before the competition.


What is the minimum age to compete?

At this time, competitors must be 18 years of age in order to compete.


When does registration begin for an event?

The registration date for each event will vary, but it is generally around 90 days prior to the competition date.


What is the cancellation/refund policy?

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Within 48 hours of registration: Full refund. This window is defined as starting with the timestamp of your registration submission and concluding precisely 48 hours later.
  • After 48 hours & prior to 30 days before: 75% refund. Once the 48 hour grace period has passed, teams can cancel up-to 30 days prior to the event and receive a 75% refund.
  • Within 30 days of the event: No refunds will be granted within 30 days of the event.

All refund requests must be submitted by email to: info@completecompetitions.com. Requests submitted in any other fashion will not be accepted.


Can I transfer my registration to someone else?

Registrations can be transferred to another person up-to two weeks prior to the event. Within two weeks of the event, no transfers will be accepted.

I came up with a waaaay better name for our team - how can I change it?

Team names are hard! We totally get that your moment of inspiration may hit after you’ve already registered. To change your team name simply send your names, your old team name and your new team name to info@completecompetitions.com. Name changes will be accepted until 2 weeks prior to the competition date.


My team should probably be in a different division - how do we change that?

We love and appreciate when teams are humble and honest about their skills and abilities! If you realize your team should be in another division, simply email us at info@completecompetitions.com.


When and how will the workouts be released?

The workouts will be released approximately 30 days prior to the event. Each workout and the movements standards will be posted on our website as well as the Facebook page for the event (make sure to say you’re “Going” to get the notifications!).


When will the photos from the event be available?

Photographs from the event will be shared within approximately 1 week of the competition date. Please know that we take HUNDREDS of photos per event and it takes some time to go through them all - we know it’s hard, but please be patient and hang tight! Once posted, feel free download all of your photos and share with the world!


Can I purchase my photo without the watermark?

Yes! Non-watermarked images are available for purchase for a fee of $3/image. Requests for non-watermarked images should be emailed to: info@completecompetitions.com. In your emailed request, please attach the image(s) you wish to purchase.
